The Lee County School District consists of thirteen schools, a career and technical education center, and a facility for academic improvement. Campuses are located in Belden, Guntown, Mooreville, Plantersville, Saltillo, Shannon, Tupelo, and Verona. There are 6,200 students currently enrolled in all programs offered throughout the district, which employs 1,000 certified and non-certified people. The Lee County School District is among the largest in size of school districts in the state.
