Responsibilities:
Legal Secretary
Perform a variety of tasks to support attorneys, including maintaining and
organizing files, conducting legal research, and drafting documents.
Processing and transcribing documents, entering data, scheduling, and taking
dictation.
Keep cases organized by establishing and organizing files, monitoring
calendars, meeting deadlines, inputting information into file database and
case management software.
Prepare travel arrangements for attorneys and prepare expense reports as
needed.
Skills:
Proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook is required.
Interpersonal Skills - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal -
Organizational Skills - Transcription Skills - Attention to Detail.
Experience:
Minimum of one to two years’ secretarial experience.
