Customer Service
- To provide customer service with timely and accurate repairs to radiology equipment. Installation:
- Assist with installations of imaging systems. Emergency Service:
- The incumbent provides emergency service in an on-call capacity. Equipment Knowledge:
- The incumbent serves as a source of technical information and training. Extended travel is required to attend OEM training. Regulatory Knowledge:
- It is essential that the Incumbent provide good documentation of maintenance to meet FDA and JCAHO requirements. Budget:
- The incumbent is expected to provide input in budgeting and have an understanding of all departmental functions. Requirements:
- An associate degree or higher in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Radiology Technician and at least five years’ experience on specific imaging systems is preferred.
- The Incumbent must know JCAHO, NFPA, and SMDA standards.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- This position requires the ability to trouble-shoot electronic equipment to component level.
