Job Summary
The Clinical Systems Analyst at North Mississippi Health Services plays a vital role in the implementation, evaluation, planning, design, and maintenance of clinical systems. They serve as a liaison between physicians, clinical staff, and technical teams, ensuring efficient automation and user satisfaction. Additionally, they provide training and support to promote patient safety and confidentiality while facilitating the coordination of clinical services.
Job Functions
- Assists in the implementation of clinical systems.
- Performs needs assessment, evaluation, planning, design, programming, testing, implementation and maintenance of clinical systems.
- Functions as a clinical system liaison between physicians, clinical staff and technical staff.
- Responsible for analysis of efficiency of automation from the user perspective, recommendation of actions to facilitate appropriate system performance and assessment of user needs for NMHS facilities.
- Provides front line support for major system implementations.
- Documents all changes and enhancements requested by users to the above systems and interfaces so that the appropriate personnel will be aware of the changes.
- Instructs, advises, and assists user personnel and other technical staff throughout NMHS regarding changes and enhancements to the various systems supported and maintained.
- Responsible for developing and editing training guides/CBT Modules as well as education of system users at NMHS.
- Provides direct hands on education and support to staff in the use of technical/clinical systems in a manner which promotes patient safety and confidentiality.
