Coordinate
- Coordinates the scheduling of staff/daily activities of Women’s Hospital gift shop
- Maintains floral supplies to create needed arrangements for gift shop
- Assure inventory moves and make decisions about sale items and new items as needed.
- Seek input from patients, visitors and employees for new ideas, inventory needs, etc. Clerical:
- Performs day to day administrative tasks
- Purchases inventory for gift shop
- Develops pricing for gift shop inventory Reporting:
- Process payroll for gift shop employees
- Maintains monthly transaction records
- Creates daily cash deposits
- Submits weekly gift shop reports for Women’s Hospital Administration Budget/Financial:K
- Maintains awareness of budget, tracks various expenses and productivity
- Assists Administrator with development of annual gift shop budget Communication/Promotion:
- Maintains optimal communication with employees
- Work with NMMC Marketing to promote the Gift Shop to employees and community. Regulatory Compliance:
- Adheres to NMHS/NMMC Policies/Procedures/Guidelines Complies with regulatory and licensing agencies
- High School Diploma or equivalent; required /Associates Degree; preferred
- Retail and/or floral experience; required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; required
- Competent with computer skills such as email, word processing, graphics, Quickbooks, etc.
- Good organizational skills/detailed orientated; required Strong interpersonal skills; required
