Job Summary:
The HR Coordinator supports the day-to-day execution of Human Resources operations by coordinating employee lifecycle processes, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and workforce administration. Working closely with operational leaders and employees, this role ensures Human Resources transactions are completed accurately, confidentially, and in compliance with company policies and employment requirements. The HR Coordinator plays a key role in delivering a positive employee experience while supporting efficient manufacturing operations and organizational growth.
Required Qualifications
· High school diploma, GED, equivalent education, or demonstrated combination of education, training, and relevant Human Resources or administrative experience.
· Ability to work within a manufacturing environment and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
· Proficiency using standard business technology and office productivity applications
Preferred Qualifications:
· Associate's or Bachelor's degree, technical education, military training, or coursework related to Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
· Professional Human Resources certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) or progress toward certification.
· Training in employment law, payroll administration, HR compliance, recruiting, or employee relations.
Required Experience:
· Experience supporting Human Resources, payroll, recruiting, office administration, or employee services in a professional environment.
· Experience maintaining confidential employee records and processing administrative transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
· Experience communicating professionally with employees, applicants, and leaders while providing responsive customer service.
· Experience organizing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and maintaining accurate documentation in a fast-paced environment.
· Experience interpreting and applying established policies, procedures, or regulatory requirements.
Preferred Experience:
· Experience supporting Human Resources within manufacturing, industrial, logistics, or distribution environments.
· Experience coordinating recruiting, onboarding, orientation, and new hire documentation.
· Experience supporting benefits administration, leave administration, or workers' compensation processes.
· Experience participating in HR audits, compliance activities, or Human Resources process improvement initiatives.
· Experience supporting HRIS implementations or Human Resources technology improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
· Coordinate recruitment activities by supporting job postings, applicant communications, interview scheduling, pre-employment processes, and onboarding to ensure an efficient hiring experience.
· Administer employee lifecycle transactions, including new hire documentation, personnel changes, employment records, and offboarding activities while maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality.
· Ensure Human Resources records, documentation, and employment practices comply with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local employment requirements.
· Serve as a resource for employees and leaders by responding to routine Human Resources inquiries and coordinating timely resolution of HR-related requests.
· Support payroll, benefits, leave administration, timekeeping, and employee data management through accurate and timely processing of Human Resources transactions.
· Coordinate pre-employment and post-offer employment activities, including background screenings, drug testing, employment eligibility verification, and onboarding requirements to support compliant hiring practices. Coordinate employee onboarding, orientation, training administration, and required compliance documentation to promote a positive employee experience and operational readiness.
· Monitor Human Resources processes and documentation to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, accuracy, compliance, and employee service. Support employment compliance activities, including personnel file audits, policy acknowledgments, training records, labor law postings, and employment documentation to maintain organizational compliance and audit readiness.
· Partner with operational leaders to support workforce planning, employee engagement initiatives, recruitment activities, and day-to-day Human Resources operations.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
