Why This Role Matters

Join us as an Maintenance Engineer and be at the heart of our lab and production innovation. Your work ensures that our testing machines and measurement devices are always precise, reliable, and optimized, helping the team perform at their best every day. You’ll play a key role in improving processes, reducing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement across the business.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive preventive and corrective maintenance on testing machines and measurement devices
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic issues
  • Ensure calibration and accuracy of all lab instruments according to plan and KPIs
  • Implement predictive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime
  • Collaborate with external suppliers for spare parts, repairs, or upgrades
  • Support continuous improvement projects and actively participate in Goodyear Production System
  • Develop and update technical documentation, SOPs, and maintenance logs
  • Work closely with lab technicians, quality engineers, and production teams
  • Share knowledge and guide peers, fostering a learning environment

What You’ll Bring

  • A Master’s degree in Automation, Electronics or Electrical Engineering — or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience or strong interest in industrial maintenance and plant environments.
  • Solid knowledge of automation technologies (PLCs, networks, drives, HMI).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a thoughtful, analytical approach.
  • A proactive mindset and genuine motivation to improve equipment reliability.
  • Project management skills and the ability to lead improvement initiatives.
  • A collaborative, people-oriented attitude and passion for working on the shop floor.
  • Fluency in English and either French or German (additional languages are a plus).
