Why This Role Matters

In this role, you will play a key part in enabling innovation by supporting the evaluation of new materials used in future products, technologies, and services. By leading the Reinforcement & Dynamic Testing Lab, you will help ensure that testing is reliable, timely, and aligned with high safety and quality standards.

Your work will directly contribute to better decision-making across teams, while fostering a supportive, inclusive, and high-performing environment where people can grow and succeed together.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and support the daily operations of the Reinforcement Testing Lab, ensuring smooth and safe execution of testing activities
  • Guide, coach, and develop a diverse team of technicians and engineers, supporting their growth and engagement
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to plan, prioritize, and deliver testing aligned with business needs
  • Act as a key point of contact for technical questions, special requests, and lab-related topics
  • Encourage continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, quality, and efficiency
  • Promote knowledge sharing and contribute to alignment and standardization across regional and global labs

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in leading or supporting teams, with a collaborative and people-focused approach
  • Background in laboratory operations, material testing, or a related technical environment with Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical, Physical or Materials Engineering
  • Ability to communicate clearly and build strong relationships across different teams and stakeholders
  • Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to navigate challenges in a structured and thoughtful way
  • Interest in continuous improvement (e.g. Lean, process optimization)
  • Understanding of safety and quality standards in an industrial or lab setting
  • Comfort working with digital tools (e.g. MS Office, SAP, or similar systems)
  • Fluency in English; French/German is a plus
