Why This Role Matters
As a Field Installation Technician, you play a vital role in delivering a seamless Tires as a Service (TaaS) experience to our customers. You ensure every hardware installation is completed with precision, care, and quality, supporting fleet safety, performance, and long-term reliability. Your work directly impacts customer trust, operational excellence, and the success of our service offering.
What You’ll Do
Install TaaS hardware on customer vehicles in line with installation standards and timelines
Prepare, configure, and test hardware prior to installation
Perform on-site troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs as needed
Coordinate installation schedules with Fleet Managers, workshops, and specialized technicians (e.g., ADR-certified electricians)
Support and guide third-party service providers during outsourced installations
Manage receipt, quality checks, storage, and inventory tracking of hardware equipment
Ensure accurate hardware registration, documentation, and replenishment planning.
What We’re Looking For
High School Diploma (Engineering degree or related field preferred)
3+ years of mechanical and electrical installation or repair experience
Hands-on experience with tractor-trailer trucks, telematics, or tire systems
Strong planning and organizational skills with attention to detail
Collaborative mindset with clear communication skills
Basic IT proficiency and comfort with digital tools
Fluency in the local language and English, with flexibility to travel 4–7 days per week.
