Why This Role Matters
In this role, you will help shape the future of materials and product innovation by supporting the Reinforcement & Dynamic Testing Team within the Applied Physical Metrology (APML) department. Your work will ensure that testing processes are reliable, safe, and aligned with high-quality standards, enabling teams across the organization to make informed decisions.
By fostering collaboration, sharing knowledge, and supporting continuous improvement, you will contribute to a positive and high-performing environment where people and ideas can thrive.
What You’ll Do
- Support and conduct physical testing activities on reinforcement and compounds materials
- Coordinate and support daily testing activities, ensuring priorities are clear and aligned with team and partner needs
- Provide technical guidance and day-to-day support to team members, encouraging knowledge sharing and development
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver accurate and timely test data
- Contribute to maintaining safe, compliant, and high-quality laboratory operations, including equipment care and calibration
- Support problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and efficiency
- Participate in training, documentation, and global standardization efforts across teams
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a materials laboratory or testing environment, with an interest in continuous learning
- Physical knowledge are strong assets
- Confidence in working with technical concepts and laboratory equipment
- A collaborative and supportive approach to working with others across different teams and levels
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and adapt in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
- Fluency in English (Luxemburgish, German and French are assets)
- Solid computer skills (e-mail, Microsoft office).
- Commitment to safety, quality, and responsible ways of working
- Experience supporting or guiding others (formally or informally) is an asset
