As a Payroll Processor you are responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll preparation by reviewing and validating employee timecard data prior to submission for processing. This role partners closely with HR, Plant Managers, and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with payroll regulations. The position plays a critical role in maintaining data accuracy, supporting employee inquiries, and ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time.

What You Will Do

  • Review and validate timecard reports, correct missed punches, and ensure accurate time reporting in partnership with plant managers.
  • Process payroll-related adjustments including PTO, leave of absence, disability pay, and incentive payments.
  • Audit payroll outputs to identify discrepancies or compliance issues and proactively resolve them.
  • Partner with HR to address payroll inquiries, provide records, and support employee-related matters.
  • Ensure proper escalation and routing of payroll, benefits, or employee relations issues.
  • Communicate payroll corrections and updates clearly to relevant stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma; Associate degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience working with timekeeping systems and payroll-related processes.
  • Knowledge of HR processes, payroll regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high-volume transactions accurately.
